The homeowner contacted us following a significant water intrusion in their basement. The flood originated in the utility area and migrated through the laundry room, bathroom, storage room, and living room. The intrusion resulted in standing water on the floors and visible damage to the luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring and wall assemblies.

Alpha Omega Disaster Restoration provided immediate emergency water mitigation services. We performed a full walkthrough to map the affected areas and completed a pre-mitigation DocuSketch for insurance documentation. Our team extracted all standing bulk water and deployed industrial dehumidifiers and air movers to stabilize the environment. Due to water trapping beneath the LVP flooring and causing cupping and swelling, we identified the floor for removal. We also postponed pulling the baseboards to protect the integrity of the moisture-softened walls until they are sufficiently stable for demolition.
