The customer experienced water damage, primarily in back rooms located near the hot water heater, affecting both carpeted and hard surface areas including the laundry room, bathroom, and utility room.
Alpha Omega Restoration Pros conducted an on-site assessment to identify affected areas and damage, primarily near the hot water heater. We completed a Water/Structural Assessment (WSA) with reconstruction planning, pre-mitigation Docusketch, and comprehensive moisture mapping. To protect belongings, plastic was laid in the unaffected living room area, and the majority of contents were manipulated and placed in this area by two technicians over one hour. All bulk water was extracted from carpeted areas and hard surface areas in the laundry, bathroom, and utility room. Doorway containment was established at the bottom of the stairs to keep the customer's cat out of the affected zone. Drying equipment was strategically set up in all needed areas, and a hydro setup was completed. Note: Additional air movement may require a jump box for more power.
