The customer required specialized water damage mitigation within a high-sensitivity environment (ICU Room 210) after discovering an affected wall that necessitated immediate containment and structural drying to prevent cross-contamination.
Technicians established a decontamination chamber and containment zone to isolate the work area within the ICU. The mitigation process involved perforating the wall paint and punching targeted holes to facilitate wall cavity pressurization. To ensure deep structural drying, a Firebird heater was deployed to "bubble" the affected wall, using controlled thermal energy to extract moisture from the internal wall cavity.
