A roof drain failure resulted in water damage affecting the ceiling cavity above a storage/breakroom area, requiring immediate mitigation and mold remediation.
Our team promptly contained the working area using 6 Zip poles and a double layer of sheeting. Contents were shifted, and AC vents, cabinets, and tables were carefully covered. A Hepa 500 air scrubber was placed to maintain air quality. We performed demolition, removing most of the affected double-layer Sheetrock, batt, and blown-in insulation. Subsequent touch-up demolition was performed, and the containment wall was expanded to remove all remaining affected drywall. Mold cleaning was successfully performed, and upon completion of the mitigation job, the containment wall was removed.
