The customer contacted us to address structural moisture accumulation, bubbling baseboards, and visible microbial mold growth spreading through a laundry closet and into an adjacent dining room.
Our restoration team engineered a dual-zone mold remediation and structural drying protocol covering both the living level and the lower crawlspace. On the main floor, technicians isolated the laundry and dining zones under 6-mil plastic containment barriers managed by a high-capacity HEPA air scrubber under negative pressure, followed by the controlled removal of contaminated vinyl baseboards, sheetrock, and luxury vinyl plank flooring. In the crawlspace, our crew rolled back the perimeter skirt insulation, cleared the chemical spray foam away from the wet rim joists, and systematically sanded and treated all exposed wood studs, floor joists, and subflooring with commercial biocides to eradicate mold spores. The entire workspace was thoroughly sanitized and left under industrial dehumidification to safely restore the framing back to baseline dry standards.
