The customer contacted the restoration team following a severe bathroom sink overflow on the upper level of their property. The cascading water migrated downwards, heavily damaging the upper-level flooring and completely soaking the basement ceiling directly underneath.
The emergency restoration response team executed immediate hazard mitigation, structural mapping, and environmental stabilization. Technicians cleared away collapsed drywall debris, safely cut out hanging ceiling elements, and established professional moisture mapping using specialized diagnostic meters. The team pulled up the ruined, non-extractable carpet padding in the basement, cutting into the bedroom entryways to extract water-logged materials safely. Additionally, advanced commercial dehumidifiers and high-velocity structural air movers were deployed in both the affected upper bathroom and the basement bedroom to dry the framework, stabilize the structure, and prepare the property for safe reconstruction.
