The customer experienced a Category 2 water loss caused by an exterior garden hose being left running, which filled a basement window well and flooded the basement living room and bedroom.
We performed a follow-up hydro visit to monitor the ongoing structural drying progress. We identified localized moisture saturation on the right side of the window area and adjusted the air ducting to optimize drying efficiency. We documented the loss by measuring affected materials, including the removed carpet pad and detached base trim, and consulted with the homeowner to schedule continued monitoring and potential equipment adjustments to ensure all moisture is successfully extracted.
