Job completed for Rod W

Completion date: May 13, 2026

Location: Billings, MT

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer experienced a water loss due to a leaking pipe connected to their instant hot water tank. While the initial source was Category 1, the resulting moisture degradation of building materials has necessitated a higher-level mitigation response to address extensive damage across the hallway, closet, bathroom, bedroom, and crawlspace.

Solutions provided:

We initiated immediate stabilization by cleaning debris from the mechanical closet and performing a HEPA vacuum treatment. We established an environmental control setup, placing a dehumidifier and an Air Filtration Device (AFD) to manage indoor air quality and structural moisture. Additionally, we addressed significant water accumulation in the crawlspace—covering approximately 510 square feet—where we identified visible microbial growth on the floor joists and subfloor. We have deployed industrial dehumidification in the crawlspace and are currently managing the site while insurance coverage is being determined.
