Job completed for Koinonia Property Management

Completion date: June 29, 2026

Location: Billings, MT

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer requested emergency restoration services after an upstairs bathroom toilet tank failed, causing significant water damage that spread across the upper level bathroom, upper hallway, and computer room. The water leak led to non-extractable carpet padding, microbial growth on carpet backing, tack strips, and subfloors, as well as saturated ceiling structures below.

Solutions provided:

Following initial site clearing by maintenance—who removed damaged drywall ceilings and insulation—our technicians inspected the affected multi-room areas and established containment protocols for containment-level remediation. We detached and removed unsalvageable flooring components, including contaminated carpet, padding, tack strips, quarter-inch underlayment, and compromised vinyl floating floors. To address microbial growth across exposed wall cavities and subflooring, we performed targeted HEPA vacuuming and antimicrobial treatments on affected surfaces. We then staged structural drying equipment, including high-capacity dehumidifiers and air movers, to extract deep moisture from exposed joists and subfloors prior to reconstruction.
