The customer experienced water damage on the west side of the building caused by failed windows. Although the active leak source was fixed prior to the assessment, the water intrusion damaged MDF baseboards and caused widespread microbial growth along the interior side of the exterior wall.
Our team conducted a thorough site assessment, detaching portions of the damaged baseboards to reveal hidden mold growth along the wall assembly. We developed a comprehensive remediation plan that includes removing the affected MDF baseboards and establishing three distinct containment areas using plastic barrier walls in the lobby and office spaces to prevent cross-contamination. To manage airborne spores during removal, three Air Filtration Devices (AFDs) will be deployed to keep the workspace safely isolated. Additionally, our scope covers a detailed final cleaning process for the bathroom area and providing a full restoration estimate for final approval.
