The customer contacted us after a commercial property suffered water damage that impacted the wood flooring and adjacent wall structures. Exposure to water compromised the integrity of the wooden floorboards and caused sections of plaster walling attached to the underlying brick structure to fail.
Our team executed a full site inspection to evaluate the extent of moisture intrusion along the floor edges, subfloor layers, and vertical wall assemblies. We positioned ladders and specialized access tools to inspect upper structural cavities, ceiling tiles, and exposed brick plaster walls for hidden dampness. The restoration scope includes deploying commercial drying equipment for specialized wood floor drying, conducting regular moisture testing and monitoring, removing compromised plaster materials from the brick wall, sanitising affected surfaces, and performing structural repairs to prevent further material degradation.
