The customer contacted us following a water heater failure that resulted in Category 1 water flooding across the main level and crawlspace of the building. The water intrusion affected multiple commercial areas, including the lobby, office, hallway, conference room, break room, bathrooms, and crawlspace.
Our restoration team initiated structural drying across all salvaging materials throughout the main level and crawlspace using commercial air movers and dehumidifiers. To prevent moisture retention and structural damage, we performed controlled demolition to remove unsalvageable flooring materials, including sheet vinyl in the break room and bathroom areas. We conducted continuous moisture readings on exposed OSB subfloors and wall assemblies to track drying progress, ensuring the entire facility was thoroughly dried and stabilized.
