The customer required post-water damage restoration and content management across several areas, including the bedroom, bathroom, family room, storage area, mechanical room, and under-stairs space. The primary focus was sorting, documenting, cleaning, and protecting both salvageable and non-salvageable personal belongings following water exposure.
Our technicians thoroughly documented and labeled non-salvage items across the affected rooms before staging them in the family room. Salvageable items were wiped down, boxed, categorized by their room of origin, and transferred to an on-site conex storage container for protection. We wrapped large furniture pieces, such as the bedroom dresser and mirror, in protective plastic sheeting. Per the homeowner's request, select sentimental items from the storage room were set out on open shelving to dry, laundry was collected to be professionally cleaned at our shop, and specific heat-sensitive goods and critical documents were safely isolated indoors. Additionally, our team set up specialized structural drying equipment with layflat lay-flat ducting venting through an egress window and tracked all inventory using Encircle and contents tracking logs.
