The customer contacted Alpha Omega Restoration after water flooded a basement bedroom, saturating approximately 80% (160 sq ft) of the carpet, pad, concrete subfloor, and surrounding drywall and window sill ledge.

Our restoration crew performed water extraction, pulled back the carpet, and removed and disposed of the non-salvageable carpet pad. We applied Mil-Go antimicrobial treatment to both sides of the carpet, reset it over the tack strips, and deployed a low-grain refrigerant (LGR) dehumidifier and axial air movers. To dry the saturated drywall around the window sill without removing customer base trim, we perforated the paint, injected airflow into the wall cavity, and routed dehumidifier heat exhaust directly to the sill ledge, conducting multi-visit invasive and non-invasive moisture monitoring until drying goals were achieved.
