The customer contacted Alpha Omega Restoration due to visible mold growth and suspected long-term Category 3 water damage impacting multiple rooms on the south side of the home, potentially caused by recurring groundwater intrusion, improper exterior gutter drainage, or a failed shower assembly.

Our restoration team performed an on-site multi-room moisture mapping and thermal assessment across two bedrooms, a bathroom, a utility room, a den, and the foyer. We identified severe mold colonization on porous materials and established a remediation protocol requiring 3rd-party lead/asbestos testing, removal of affected flooring and the bottom two feet of drywall/insulation, demolition of the failed tile shower assembly, and containment controls to isolate the water intrusion source.
