The customer contacted Alpha Omega Restoration after an exterior outdoor spigot leaked through the garage wall, causing water intrusion that damaged approximately 13 linear feet of drywall and deteriorated surrounding building materials.
Our restoration specialists inspected the garage framing and performed moisture readings on the wet sill plates and drywall. After the homeowner's plumber capped the failed spigot to stop the leak source, we performed a controlled flood cut, removing the water-damaged drywall up to 4 feet high along the 13-foot span. We cleaned the affected concrete floor, executed HEPA vacuuming, and deployed an air filtration device (AFD) alongside drying equipment to ensure complete structural mitigation and clean indoor air quality.
