The client contacted us following an HVAC water leak and moisture intrusion that affected multiple commercial areas, including the attic space, public restroom, employee restroom, and adjacent hallway framing.
Our restoration crew removed approximately 20 square feet of saturated Sheetrock in the public bathroom, inspected the underlying foam board insulation behind the OSB sheathing, and created targeted containment bubbles using plastic poly sheeting and layflat ducting. We deployed Sahara air movers, axial fans, and commercial dehumidifiers to inject heated dry air into wet wall cavities, ceilings, and attic subflooring. We perforated affected walls, HEPA vacuumed the work areas, and conducted multi-stage invasive and non-invasive moisture mapping across seven monitoring visits until the framing and structural points reached the dry standard.
