Job completed for Dawn A

Completion date: September 22, 2026

Location: Billings, MT

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer contacted us following a window intrusion that caused water, mud, and debris to enter the property. The water damage impacted multiple spaces, including the living room, workout room, hallway, and adjacent areas.

Solutions provided:

The restoration team performed water and debris extraction across the affected carpet and exposed concrete floors. They removed damaged carpet, padding, baseboards, door trim, and window trim. To expose the wall cavity for inspection and drying, damaged drywall, vapor barrier, and compacted insulation were removed around the source window bay, and 3-inch drywall cuts were made along the east wall. Technicians treated and extracted the concrete floor to remove mud, applied antimicrobial spray to hallway carpeting, and separately dried retained MDF trim per the customer's request. A comprehensive drying system was installed using large dehumidifiers, air movers, and an air filtration device (AFD). The team cleaned mud and debris from both the interior window area and the exterior window well. Throughout the monitoring phase, equipment was repositioned to address remaining elevated moisture points, and drywall cuts were refined to satisfy the customer's expectations.
